Contours remain the same in DCA EU-4 Potato Index

The turbulent weeks are behind us for now. That is at least the impression we get when we look at the prices of last week. The fact that it is somewhat calmer is also reflected in the DCA EU-4 Potato Index.

The range in the potato market remains remarkably wide. PotatoNL sets the bottom at €27.50 and is thus the bottom performer within the EU. The other countries set €30 on the board for Fontane. The top end of the market remains unchanged at €40. PotatoNL and Reka do give different signals for the top end of the market. The Netherlands rates Agria higher while in Germany Innovator leads the market.

The DCA EU-4 Potato Index has risen by €0.08 to €32.53 per 100 kilos. Belgium is the lowest contributor for the second week in a row at €30. The leader in the Potato Index remains, as practically the entire season, Germany.
