Belgian Heylen Group acquires Konings Dairy

The Belgian Heylen Group acquires the Dutch Konings Dairy. This company based in Bleiswijk, active in trade and logistics, fits well with Heylen subsidiary Euro Fresh Foods, as announced by the Belgian company.

The acquisition price is not disclosed. The companies are also sparse with other data. It is known that Konings Dairy achieved a gross profit of €10 million and a net profit of €4 million last year. In 2022, a gross profit of €8.6 million and a net profit of €3.6 million were recorded. Konings also has a 50% stake in a logistics company in Schiedam.

The Heylen Group is active in various sectors, including trade and logistics in fresh dairy. The company sells products from Weight Watchers and Monte, among others. According to the Belgian financial-economic newspaper De Tijd, the total group turnover amounts to over €1 billion. Founder Wim Heylen is said to own over 90% of the group's shares.
